The Northern Ireland Executive announced that the use of face coverings in certain indoor settings is mandatory in the region from Monday 10 August. Face coverings should now be worn in shops and other enclosed spaces. It describes this as “a vital defence in our ongoing battle against Covid-19”.
The Executive has launched the ‘Wear one for Everyone’ public information campaign to raise awareness of the benefits of face coverings.
