Government has launched a free to use service for those who move goods between GB and Northern Ireland (NI).
The aim of the service is to guide businesses through the changes to the way goods will move between GB and NI from 1 January 2021 once the Northern Ireland Protocol comes into force.
This will apply to businesses that are moving goods themselves (e.g. a manufacturer transporting units from GB into NI), or to a business that is moving the goods on behalf of another business (e.g. a transport/siting company working on behalf of the park operator/distributor).
The service will include guidance and training, a digital service to support declarations and support from customs experts.
