Awards deadline extended for Southern tourism businesses

The entry deadline for the Tourism Awards across the south west and south east has been extended to 12 September.

With many businesses working flat out, the organisers have extended the deadline for entry until midnight on 12 September, giving businesses from Cornwall to Kent a few more days to complete their entries after the school holidays.

Award-winning businesses can get great publicity and attract more visitors. With categories for accommodation, pubs, cafes, restaurants, bistros, sustainability, accessibility, unsung hero, dog-friendly, resilience, innovation and more, there may well be more than one you want to enter.

As quoted by one of last year’s entrants: “We can’t really put into words how much it means, especially after this year!” Other entrants listed the benefits of entering as increasing bookings, PR, boosting staff morale, staff recruitment as well as free feedback on how to improve.   The NCC is also interested in hearing from members who have success in these awards – email editorial@thencc.org.uk

The award schemes are:

Entry is FREE across the South West, and free to members of Tourism South East and specific sectors in the South East.  Judging is independent and all entrants receive free feedback.
