UK holiday park operator shows customer satisfaction with staycationing

UK holiday park operator, Parkdean Resorts reports that it has been named the leading holiday provider for the month of March on a number of key research metrics, based on guest feedback scores, outperforming several leading domestic and international holiday providers.

The customer research recorded customer feedback scores for Parkdean Resorts, Center Parcs, and other operators including TUI, EasyJet and Jet2.

Parkdean Resorts says: “2022 represents an important benchmark for the UK’s booming staycation market. After two years of limited international travel due to COVID, overseas holidays are once again a realistic option for families. However, with many respondents reporting better experiences at Parkdean’s 66 holiday parks than on overseas holidays, these results are good news for the local communities around the UK whose economies are so reliant on domestic tourism, and appear to demonstrate that the Great British Staycation is here to stay.

“Parkdean Resorts has received consistently high ratings … outperforming overseas competitors on how entertaining and environmentally friendly they are. The results … demonstrate Parkdean Resorts’ continued commitment to delivering outstanding service.”

Tens of thousands of guests provided feedback throughout the year, with scores in Q4 2021 peaking across Facebook (4.2 out of 5), Google (4.1), and Tripadvisor (4.0). The feedback also included record scores for value for money and activities, while 83% of people who visited Parkdean in 2021 said they would be likely to book again.

Catherine Lynn, Chief Customer Officer, said: “These results are down to our people, who can justifiably feel very proud of what they have achieved.”
