VisitBritain plans campaign to drive tourism recovery

VisitBritain says that its role in 2021/22 is to “drive immediate tourism recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic by building back visitor spend as quickly as possible and supporting the industry”.

The organisation has been planning its marketing activity for the coming year and the Escape The Everyday campaign will be back in the coming months to “inspire consumers to travel and enjoy the country’s amazing tourism offer”.

The campaign’s launch will be aligned to Step 3 of the UK Government roadmap for England. You can download the logos for ‘Escape The Everyday…responsibly’ to use across your channels – see link below.

More details and links to resources and toolkits for you to get involved in the campaign will be launched in the next month.

Feature your product on VisitBritain’s consumer channels

Between April and June, the content across VisitBritain’s consumer website, social media and PR channels will focus on three key themes:

  • The Great Outdoors/Walking
  • Cities
  • Summer Events & Festivals

Responsible travel will underpin these three themes.

If you have relevant content that you would like to feature on their channels, to ensure the holiday parks industry is well represented, please share your content, news and stories. Read more about how to get involved here.
