Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show – press release

Back Bigger and Better than ever at the NEC Birmingham, Spring 2022

The Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show, returns to the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham from 22 – 27 February 2022, kicking off the season with the largest showcase for the UK leisure vehicle industry.

The event will be supported by the major UK holiday caravan manufacturers including; ABI, Carnaby Caravans, Omar Park Homes, Pemberton Park & Leisure Homes, Prestige Homeseeker Park & Leisure Homes, the Swift Group, Victory Leisure Homes and Willerby. These will feature alongside leading UK and European leisure vehicle manufacturers and dealers, bringing together over 350 exhibitor stands across five halls of the NEC.

The show offers the first opportunity for visitors to step inside and compare newly launched holiday caravans, leisure homes and lodges in one place, meet the manufacturers face-to-face, and get advice about all aspects of holiday caravan living.

The spring event will also reflect the growing increase in interest in campervans as a holiday vehicle. Over 50% more models will be on display from leading manufacturers including Bilbos, CMC Reimo, Danbury, Dreamer, Elddis, Hillside Leisure, I H Motorhomes, Malibu, Murvi, Swift, Vantage Motorhomes, Westfalia Mobil and Wildax. All vehicles on display will be compliant with the UK Type Approval requirements.

Impartial advice from experts for existing owners and those interested in buying into the touring lifestyle will also be on offer along with talks and presentations from organisations and enthusiasts across outdoor leisure to inspire visitors about places to go and activities to enjoy while on their adventures.

As well as experiencing the biggest display of holiday caravans, park homes, lodges and leisure vehicles anywhere in the country, visitors will be able to research and book their 2022 holidays from a superb choice of holiday parks and campsites, buy essential accessories, and find a fantastic range of family and adventure tents – pitched-up ready to explore.

Free caravan towing courses, motorhome manoeuvring lessons and campervan test drives provided by leading member organisations, the Camping & Caravanning Club and the Caravan & Motorhome Club, will be available for visitors (over 25 with a driver’s licence) to get a feel for the different types of leisure vehicle available, brush-up on their driving/towing skills and build confidence behind the wheel.

NCC Events Chairman, Anthony Trevelyan said: “We can’t wait to welcome those who love the freedom and adventure of holiday caravan, touring caravan, motorhome and camping holidays back to the NEC in February and extend a particularly warm welcome to those new to the lifestyle joining us for the first time. Nothing beats live events and we’re excited to offer visitors the opportunity to get inside and compare the different layouts, fittings and innovations from the best in the industry so that they can make an informed buying decision. The show will also be jam-packed with insight, talks and training for beginners and experienced leisure vehicle owners alike.”
